Explanation:
This is a line for detecting an attack from Leo (a very successful
cybug programmed by Philip Bovenkamp). Leo used to build a nest of mines
around itself and kill the enemy by launching missiles into them when the
enemy was next to them.
Torque uses the fact that Leo won't be facing the same way as him (because
then he couldn't have launched a missile at Torque) and that Torque's damage
will be greater than or equal to 7 because he has just suffered a missile
splash damage.
Also, Torque calculates whether the relative position of the enemy cybug
is typical of Leo. If these checks indicate that he is being attacked by
Leo, then Torque backs away and repairs.
These days, Leo is no longer in any tournaments and we have grenades
to launch around mines, but it's still useful so Shea has left it in.
