If Torque finds that the enemy is in front of him, then he jumps to a routine to do a long range scan and find out whether the enemy can be seen or not.

Otherwise, the enemy is behind Torque and so it probably has a good chance of being able to launch a missile before Torque is able to turn round. In this case, Torque jumps to a routine to move out of the enemy's line of fire.
