JOHN REDER CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING CERTIFICATES
(PARTIAL LIST)

Programming Languages / Software Development
This just when I was formally introduced to these Languages. In most cases I was already programming in them long before taking a formal course. I have too many experiences with other languages to mention here that were not followed up with formal training. My career has been exclusively focused on programming since 1997 but as you can see I have been developing software professionally since 1990. I included Biztalk here since it is so integrated in many development projects.  BlueSpring is a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) tool. The Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD/UML) training is also included here for its relevance to software development.

Operating Systems
This gives you an indication as to my diversity and just when I was formally introduced to these OS's. I had allot more formal UNIX training than these indicate but many classes never issued any type of formal certificate for one reason or another.

U.S. Navy Related Training
I spent the majority of my training learning to be a Aviation Electronics Technician. As you can see I attended other training as well.

Hardware / Electronics Service Related
Naturally, once out of the Navy my early career choices were focused on electronics. I had jobs from climbing radio towers to PC repair (8086's to give you a clue as to when I started my PC related career experience - I go back to the TRS-80's and C=64's if you want a history lesson...) I had dozens of classes on various NCR point of sale systems and servers but they didn't start handing out certificates until I was winding down my hardware service career.

Applications
This gives you a clue just how early I started using these applications. The Winrunner product is used to automate application testing.

Network Support (Logical and Physical) Related
As you can see I spent allot of time as a Network Engineer.

Phone Switch and related systems administration (Telecom)
For a while I was a jack of all things electronic. When AT&T purchased NCR I was introduced to many things AT&T from UNIX to Phone Switches...

Database Training
I attended multiple database related training courses but only received certificates from the following. At the time I administrated some larger ORACLE based systems. Today I focus primarily on MS SQL Server based database development. I also attended training on other loosely related products like Lotus Notes.

Business Related Training
I have a ton of these miscellaneous business related required training or initiative related training sessions. Here is a small sampling.

As you can see I tried to organize these in a way that illustrates the progression of my career from electronics repair through Applications, Networking, Systems Administration, Databases and finally Programming and Business Processes and Project Management.
